Stryper is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year with a new record and a new tour. Their latest CD, Murder by Pride, was released on July 21, 2009. Coincidently, or maybe purposely, Stryper’s first CD was released on July 21, 1984.

On Thursday, September 24, 2009 Stryper took the 25th Anniversary tour to the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. The House of Blues is an intimate venue without a bad seat. The balcony gives a view of the whole stage while letting the audience relax in their seats. The main floor is general admittance and lets people get right up to the stage.

Stryper Sound Check and Meet and Greet

Stryper has offered a very unique and exciting experience during the 25th Anniversary tour. Fifty fans are able to purchase special tickets that allow special access to the band for $38.25. Stryper fans are able to sit in as the band runs through a sound check. Afterwards the band mingles with the fans allowing pictures and autographing. At least that’s the plan.
